Eco Energy Installations System
Our revolutionary underfloor heating system has no floor buiId-up. The existing screed/concrete is routed/miIIed/grinded using our speciaIIy designed and patented floorgrinder. The channeIs created by our floorgrinder are then ready to have the HI fluxtube's Iaid and fitted directIy.
A desirabIe feature of our system is that it provides a more comfortabIe and energy efficient operation than traditionaI wet UFH systems, as the heating pipes are instaIIed directIy under the surface of the finaI floor finish. As a resuIt, the response time to heat the floor is quicker and room temperatures can be more accurateIy controIIed.
The HI system is tested and approved in accordance to the BS l264 and the ISS0-49 (quaIity floor / waII heating and cooIing) reguIations. These guideIines are used for the pubIication of this technicaI proposaI.

With underfloor heating, you will be able to enjoy a cosy feeling as you walk around any part of your home and feel greater comfort during the winter months. After any bathroom or kitchen installation has been rounded off, this could be the finishing touch needed to hand you a huge wave of contemporary innovation.
You will generally have the choice of going for either water or electric based systems, both of which are often very easy to install. Once we have an idea of the scale of underfloor heating you want fitted, our team will draw up a suitable course of action to ensure the areas you want heated are kitted out in the best possible way throughout.
There are so many advantages to choosing underfloor heating, not least the amount of space you can save in certain rooms. A prime example would be the fact radiators won’t often be necessary, which means they can be removed so that rooms feel far less cluttered. You will also find that the heat is more evenly spread rather than being concentrated in just one area of a particular room.
Our most popular first floor UFH systems
There are many first floor underfloor heating systems to choose from, which can be broken down as follows:
In ground UFH
Our in-ground UFH is a revolutionair underfloor heating system with no build-up height. The top screed is grooved using a specially designed and patented floor grinder’. floor grinder dustlessly creates grooves in the screed into which the heating pipes are laid into.
“Underfloor heating provides the fastest and cosiest warmth for every floor type.”
More and more people opt for underfloor heating systems because the benefits are very clear. Underfloor heating provides the most comfortable and uniform level of warmth. Also, underfloor heating systems (UFH) are categorized as Low Temperature Heating (LTH). This means that they can easily be combined with other heating systems already in place because of the low water flow temperature. As a result energy usage is lower and therefore the energy bill, as well!
Zero build-up
Another desirable feature of our in-ground UFH is that it is more comfortable and energy efficient than traditional wet UFH systems, as the heating pipes are installed directly under the surface of the floor. This allows the floor temperature to rise much faster so the room temperature can be controlled more accurately than with traditional underfloor heating systems.
Zero build-up is a very unique water underfloor heating system.”
This makes our in-ground UFH a very unique and desirable zero build-up water underfloor heating system, which can be installed into all renovation, refurbishment or change of use projects.
Unique grinding method
Our floor grinder dustlessly creates grooves in the screed into which the heating pipes are inserted. Since the grinding method uses a specially constructed industrial diamond grinding disc it can be applied to 99% of all floor surfaces, making it unnecessary to remove or raise the existing screed floor constructions.
“Patented grinding machine, dustless, a tightly routed groove pattern into which the heating pipes are inserted.”
Furthermore, it is also possible to install our underfloor heating system into different floor levels , or suspended timer floor constructions where dry-construction panels such as gypsum boards are already in place.
Metal heat transfer plates
Metal heat transfer plates are placed on or between joists to hold the underfloor heating tube. The heat transfer plate, designed specifically to act as a thermal conductor, improves both response times and ease of installation.
There are a few different systems of this type on the market, they vary considerably in the way they are installed and their quality.
Installing underfloor heating between joists or on joists
Flexibility is key for successful first floor underfloor heating installation. Choose an underfloor heating system that can be fitted on first floor timber joists from above before the deck is laid, or between timber joists from below after the deck is laid.
This allows underfloor heating installers to work on site, without affecting the build schedule of the other trades.
Underfloor heating between joists
Installing underfloor heating between timber joists from below, once the upper floor deck has been laid, is quicker and safer and also enables other trades to continue with work upstairs – everybody wins. If you’re unsure, we can help you choose.
Underfloor heating on joists
Where the heat transfer plates are fitted on timber joists, the heating tube can be fitted from below if it is more convenient. This is a bonus in terms of health and safety, as there will be no balancing on joists to install pipework. It is important to choose a strong metal plate system that will hold the underfloor heating tube flush against the floor deck – this helps to give an effective heat transfer. If the metal plates are too thin they could sag or bow over time, meaning that the underfloor heating will have to heat an air void, which can impact response times drastically. Our tried and tested system won’t let you down.
A plated underfloor heating system is likely to be cheaper to purchase than other joisted floor solutions and is quick to install, meaning an effective heating system that is affordable to buy, install and run. First floor underfloor heating has never been easier.
